
This full-time Certified Peer Specialist role within the COMCARE department supports adults with severe mental illness as part of a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic Assertive Community Treatment team. The position involves providing goal-directed peer support to help individuals regain independence and improve emotional well-being, while also facilitating recovery-focused support groups. Key responsibilities include sharing lived experience to model successful strategies, transporting clients to medical appointments and community activities, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation. The role offers a collaborative environment focused on recovery and community integration, with a varied schedule running Monday through Saturday. A valid driver's license and personal vehicle are required for essential duties.
