At Recrutus, our mission is to build a trusted professional ecosystem for the modern workforce. These terms are designed to ensure transparency, integrity, and mutual respect between candidates and employers.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Recrutus platform (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all of these terms, do not use the Service.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Recrutus regarding your use of our website, mobile applications, and related services.

Employers must represent valid legal entities. Job postings must be for genuine openings and comply with all applicable labor laws, including equal opportunity employment standards. Misleading or fraudulent postings may result in immediate termination.

3. Content Standards and Intellectual Property

All content uploaded to Recrutus—including resumes, job descriptions, and company profiles—must adhere to our professional standards. We reserve the right to remove any content that is:

  • Discriminatory, hateful, or harassing in nature.
  • Infringing upon any third-party intellectual property rights.
  • Deceptive, false, or misleading.
  • Technologically harmful (for example contains viruses or malware).

Recrutus retains all rights to its proprietary software, branding, and design elements. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the platform for its intended professional purposes.

4. Platform Fees and Subscription Terms

While basic seeker profiles may be free, certain employer features and premium seeker tools may require payment. Fees are outlined on our Pricing page when available in your account or sales materials.

Subscription fees, where applicable, are typically billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis and are non-refundable except as required by law. Recrutus may modify pricing with reasonable notice to active subscribers.

5. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimers

WE DO NOT GUARANTEE EMPLOYMENT, HIRING OUTCOMES, OR THE CONDUCT OF ANY USER.

To the extent permitted by law, disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be handled in the courts of competent jurisdiction in San Francisco, California, unless another venue is required by consumer protection law.
