The Recruiter Master Trainer (RMT) serves as a critical subject matter expert dedicated to the development, coaching, and mentoring of Recruiting and Retention Non-Commissioned Officers (RRNCOs) within the Army National Guard. This position is designed to foster continuous professional growth, ensuring recruiting and retention success through dynamic leadership and expert instruction.
As an RMT, you will assess individual and team performance while developing and delivering structured training programs. The role demands a passion for teaching and guiding others in a fast-paced, result-driven environment. You will be responsible for designing training objectives, preparing instructional aids, and consulting on complex training needs across both classroom and field-based settings.
This position operates in a hybrid environment, requiring time in classrooms/offices as well as field-based settings. You will participate in recruiting events, which may involve outdoor work and occasional offsite instruction. The role requires frequent travel, including 75–50% local travel and 25–50% regular overnight TDY travel in support of contract or mission execution. Reimbursement is provided at standard DOD travel rates.

Candidates must possess a minimum of five years of successful military recruiting experience or hold a Master Badge. Preference is given to those who have served in leadership positions within a Recruiting Command (typically senior E6 or E7) or have prior experience as an ARNG RR 1SG, NCOIC, or RRBN Master Trainer. A college degree is preferred but not required.
Successful candidates must be able to complete 48 hours of in-person training per month. Normal working hours are 0730–1700, Monday through Friday (excluding Federal holidays), though flexibility is required. A valid state-issued driver's license and automobile insurance are mandatory. NACLC and POSTA screening are required for work authorization.
