The Recruiter Master Trainer (RMT) serves as a critical subject matter expert within the Army National Guard, dedicated to the development, coaching, and mentoring of Recruiting and Retention Non-Commissioned Officers (RRNCOs). This position is designed to enhance recruiting and retention success by assessing individual and team performance and fostering continuous professional growth. The RMT operates in a fast-paced, result-driven environment, utilizing dynamic leadership and excellent communication skills to guide others.
The role requires a blend of classroom, office, and field-based settings. RMTs will frequently participate in recruiting events, which may involve outdoor instruction and offsite activities. The position demands physical demonstration of tasks, such as electronic automation and field work, and requires a clear verbal presence at assigned locations.
Travel is a significant component of this role, requiring 75–50% local travel and 25–50% regular overnight TDY travel in support of contract or mission execution. Reimbursement is provided at standard DOD travel rates. While normal hours are 0730–1700, Monday through Friday (excluding Federal holidays), flexibility is required to meet mission needs. Additionally, RMTs must complete 48 hours of in-person training per month.

Previous experience as an ARNG RR 1SG or NCOIC, prior experience as an RRBN Master Trainer, background in RRBN Operations or as a MEPS Guidance Counselor, and a college degree.
