Klamath Basin Behavioral Health (KBBH) is seeking a CADC Intern to join our collaborative healthcare team. In this role, you will provide supervised substance use counseling and support services to clients navigating substance use and co-occurring mental health needs. This position is designed to offer a supportive environment where you can document services, coordinate care with providers, and actively support client recovery goals while gaining the supervised hours necessary for CADC certification.
As an intern, you will work within an inclusive, team-oriented culture that values professional growth. You will assist with screenings and assessments, support the development of individualized treatment plans, and provide both individual and group counseling services. Your day-to-day will involve collaborating with multidisciplinary team members, educating clients and families on recovery resources, and participating in clinical supervision and team meetings to ensure the highest standards of care.
Candidates who are CADC-I eligible or actively pursuing CADC certification, and who are enrolled in or have completed an approved addiction studies program, are encouraged to apply. Please note that a background check and TB clearance are required for this position.
