About the Team

Banner University Medical Group is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our busy Advanced Heart Failure Program. This role is an integral part of the growing Cardiovascular & Transplant Institutes within Banner University Medicine in Phoenix.

The Cardiovascular Institute (CVI) represents a strategic collaboration between Banner University Medical Center Phoenix and Banner Heart Hospital. It encompasses specialized centers including Heart Rhythms, CAD, Advanced Heart Failure, Cardiovascular Health, Valvular, and Vascular care. All CVI positions align with a vision that integrates complex clinical care with teaching and research. In this capacity, you will also maintain a close partnership with the Transplant Institute at Banner University Medicine in both Phoenix and Tucson.

Banner University Medical Center Phoenix (BUMC-P) is a nationally recognized academic medical center and the primary teaching facility for the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix. About the Role

As a Nurse Practitioner in this program, you will manage the clinical care of patients, interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, provide education, offer consultations, and contribute to research initiatives. The position requires a collaborative team approach, working closely with physicians and other clinicians to deliver high-quality patient care. You will specifically work alongside the Advanced Heart Failure team, blending inpatient and outpatient expertise to support complex cardiac needs.
