We are Stronger Together. For You. We look forward to serving communities along Florida's Treasure Coast with high-quality care in September 2025. Opening this fall, Florida Coast Medical Center will offer a wide range of specialties, including premier surgical care, neurosciences, orthopedic and spine surgery, cardiac catheterization and heart care, vascular surgery, cancer care, and urology.
We combine advanced technology with a compassionate approach to healthcare. Our mission is to improve lives through collaboration, innovation, and personalized service—because when we work together, we can do more for our patients.
At Florida Coast Medical Center, we understand that our greatest asset is our dedicated team of professionals. We are seeking an innovative and experienced healthcare leader to drive excellence and inspire our team towards exceptional patient outcomes and operational success.
The Perioperative Acute Care Manager is a registered nurse who uses critical thinking skills to coordinate clinical activities within a specific unit and collaborate with other members of the healthcare team. This role directly and indirectly supervises the care rendered by ancillary staff, acting as a role model to enhance clinical practice excellence and support evidence-based programs.
You will focus on unit-based performance improvement, serving as a resource instructor for competency assessment specific to the unit. Your day will involve facilitating patient safety goals, implementing and measuring performance improvement (PI) metrics, and reviewing all nursing documentation for accuracy. You will also ensure department-specific CDC guidelines are followed and that medication reconciliation reaches 100%.
In addition to clinical oversight, you will implement educational inservices for all outpatient and recovery areas and assist with staff scheduling. You will also step in to support the team by filling in during the absence of the Assistant Director or on the clinical unit where needed.
We offer more than a job—we provide a comprehensive benefit package that prioritizes your health, professional development, and work-life balance. From medical and dental coverage to 401(k) matching and generous paid time off, we are committed to supporting your well-being.
Are you a results-driven leader ready to make a meaningful impact on patients, caregivers, and your community? Join us as we prepare to open our doors this fall and redefine healthcare in the Treasure Coast region.
