KLAMATH BASIN BEHAVIORAL HEALTH is seeking a Peer Support Specialist to leverage lived experience in mentoring and empowering individuals on their recovery journey. This community-based position is designed to provide a unique bridge between clinical care and daily life, fostering wellness, independence, and community integration.
In this role, you will serve as a vital link for clients navigating mental health and social services. Working within an inclusive, team-oriented culture, you will collaborate closely with clinical staff to advocate for client needs while modeling hope and resilience. Your day-to-day involves providing one-on-one mentoring, facilitating peer-led groups, and supporting clients in connecting with essential resources such as housing, education, and employment. By maintaining accurate documentation and participating in ongoing training, you will help uphold the organization's commitment to trauma-informed practices and ethical care.

Klamath Basin Behavioral Health (KBBH) operates as a private, non-profit organization dedicated to mental health care in Klamath Falls, Oregon.
