
This full-time Direct Support Professional role supports adults with disabilities and special needs within Burton Center's Community Training Home program. The position involves providing person-centered care, including assistance with personal hygiene, medication administration, and meal preparation, while encouraging independence and community engagement. Key responsibilities also include implementing behavioral support plans, facilitating recreational activities, and utilizing digital tools to track individual progress. The role offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated non-profit team dedicated to developing unlimited potential, featuring comprehensive in-person training and certification in safety and medical support. The schedule covers a second shift with flexibility between Monday or Friday evenings and full weekend days, totaling 32 hours per week.
