Key Responsibilities
- check_circleFollow established physical therapy plan of care and provide interventions
- check_circleManage assigned caseload and deliver physical therapy services to patients
- check_circleDocument all care provided and maintain records per VNS Health policy
- check_circleAssist patients with therapeutic interventions and activities of daily living
- check_circleTransport and utilize technology devices and infection control materials
- check_circleParticipate in interdisciplinary team meetings and training programs
- check_circleMonitor patient progress through observation and report to supervising therapist
Requirements
- verifiedNew York State Certification as Physical Therapist Assistant
- verifiedAssociate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from NY State approved program
- verifiedMinimum of two years experience in clinical patient care
- verifiedValid driver's license (may be required)
- verifiedBilingual skills (may be required)
- verifiedBasic PC skills (preferred)
