This Registered Nurse position is based onsite at the UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, Colorado, within the Surgical Oncology department. You will join a dynamic team focused on providing top-of-scope practice in direct patient care, utilizing the nursing process to achieve exceptional outcomes. The role prioritizes wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence-based practice within a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment.
You will provide direct care on specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) units handling moderate to high patient acuity. The position operates on a Day and Night Rotation schedule, working part-time for 48 hours per pay period. Success in this role involves valuing a multidisciplinary team approach, contributing to safety and quality at the point of care, and modeling proficiency by precepting those new to healthcare or UCHealth. Clinical Educators will support and guide your individualized specialty education and training for competency validation throughout your clinical orientation.
