About the Role

The Lead Caregiver is the heart of our daily operations, responsible for providing caring and personalized assistance to residents while leading the team that delivers it. This role exists to ensure that every resident and family has their needs met through our 1440 Care standards.

In this position, you will not just "do your job"; you will lead, manage, and hold overall accountability for your team's performance. You will be the primary communicator with resident families, ensuring messages are delivered tactfully and understood correctly. You will also act as a vital link to the Wellness Leader, providing timely and detailed information regarding any changes in a resident's needs or care.

Your day involves leading the delivery of compassionate, competent care. You will guide your team through essential services such as bathing, grooming, dining assistance, and toileting care. You will ensure resident rooms are maintained, answer call signals promptly, and assist with medication reminders. Beyond direct care, you will maintain accurate documentation in Yardi/CareStream and work toward the continual improvement of our organization.
