
This full-time Maintenance Technician I role within the NE-Corps Programs supports building and grounds operations through a blend of repair and custodial duties. The position involves performing routine maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry systems, alongside managing preventive maintenance records and supervising contract services. Approximately one-quarter of the time is dedicated to cleaning and sanitizing facilities, including restrooms and common areas. The role offers the appeal of hands-on variety, allowing the incumbent to utilize diverse trade skills in a mission-driven environment. It requires physical mobility for outdoor work in various weather conditions and occasional after-hours emergency response. A valid driver's license is necessary for transporting equipment and personnel.
