About the Role
The Disaster Recovery Case Manager (DRCM) provides long-term, strengths-based case management to individuals and families impacted by disasters in alignment with The Salvation Army's disaster recovery services. This role includes an initial rapid response followed by ongoing follow-up and support to promote stability and recovery.
The DRCM conducts client outreach, including local travel as needed, to assess needs, address immediate challenges, and develop individualized recovery plans. The position supports goal setting, recovery planning, and continuous engagement, incorporating the Pathway of Hope approach when appropriate to promote long-term self-sufficiency and stability.
