This position serves as a dedicated leader within our After School Program, responsible for planning and delivering a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for school-age children. The role exists to ensure that every child receives consistent care, nutritious meals, and stimulating recreational activities that foster both physical and mental growth.
You will provide constant, loving care to children in an efficient and secure manner. Your day involves selecting and facilitating age-appropriate activities that are both fun and educational, offering opportunities for learning both indoors and outdoors. You will also oversee mealtime, preparing and serving nutritious snacks and meals while cultivating a positive, relaxed atmosphere that encourages conversation. Throughout the day, you will maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the center's property while actively observing and supervising children to ensure their safety.
Candidates must possess a High School diploma or GED, along with two years of experience teaching child development programs in a church or preschool setting, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. A valid state driver's license and current CPR and first aid certifications are required.
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, working 40 hours per week.
