
This full-time Wildlife Biologist role within the Alaska Department of Fish and Game supports the Threatened, Endangered, and Diversity Program by conducting applied research on species of greatest conservation need. The position involves designing and executing field studies on birds, mammals, and amphibians across remote Alaskan locations, managing complex logistics, and analyzing ecological data to inform conservation strategies. The role offers the opportunity to work in a mission-driven environment dedicated to preserving Alaska's biodiversity while collaborating with diverse partners. Candidates will engage in both office-based analysis and extensive fieldwork, requiring travel to remote sites. The position is based in Fairbanks or Douglas and is open exclusively to Alaska residents.
