About the Role
This Part Time position is located at The Westin Maui Resort & Spa in Ka'anapali, Hawaii. As a key member of our Food and Beverage & Culinary team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and service. Your day will involve completing final breakdown duties, such as cleaning rooms and returning equipment to its proper location, as well as managing closing duties like storing reusable goods and locking doors.
You will be responsible for setting up, stocking, and maintaining work areas, ensuring the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of your assigned station. A significant part of your role involves handling linen logistics, including transporting dirty linen, separating napkins from tablecloths, and restocking shelves with clean linens. You will practice clean-as-you-go procedures throughout the day and assist other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
Beyond operational tasks, you will be the face of our brand, welcoming and acknowledging all guests according to company standards. You will anticipate and address guests' service needs, thanking them with genuine appreciation while speaking with clear and professional language. You will also support your team in reaching common goals and ensuring adherence to quality expectations.
