This Part Time position is located at The Westin Maui Resort & Spa in Ka'anapali, Hawaii. You will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our work areas and service stations. Your day will involve completing final breakdown duties, such as cleaning rooms and returning equipment to its proper location, as well as managing closing procedures like storing reusable goods and locking doors.
You will be responsible for setting up and stocking work areas, monitoring sanitation standards, and practicing "clean-as-you-go" procedures throughout your shift. A key part of your role involves handling linen logistics, including transporting dirty linens, separating napkins from tablecloths, and restocking shelves with clean linens. You will also assist other departments when needed to ensure optimum service for our guests.
Beyond operational duties, you will be the face of our brand by welcoming and acknowledging all guests according to company standards. You will anticipate and address service needs, thank guests with genuine appreciation, and communicate with clear, professional language. You will also support the team in reaching common goals while adhering to all company safety, security, and quality expectations.
