This role involves joining a physician-led, not-for-profit health system in New York's Southern Tier as a board-eligible or board-certified otolaryngologist. The position offers a balanced schedule with two to three clinic days and one to two operating room block days weekly, supported by a dedicated team including audiology and advanced practice providers. Key responsibilities include managing a comprehensive ENT practice, performing surgeries in a Level II Trauma environment, and participating in a manageable 1:5 call rotation. The opportunity is appealing due to the collegial culture, optional academic involvement with SUNY Upstate, and the use of efficient technologies like Epic and Dragon Ambient eXperience. The role is based in Greater Binghamton, offering a lower cost of living and access to outdoor activities, with a flexible work arrangement that may include a four-day workweek.
