About the Team
Northern Light A.R. Gould Hospital is an 89-bed acute care facility located near the Canadian border in Presque Isle, Maine. As Aroostook County's largest hospital, we serve as the leading provider of healthcare services in the region, offering 24-hour emergency care, complete cancer services, a day surgery center, and the area's most comprehensive imaging center.
Our Primary Care practice is well-established and seeks an experienced, board-certified or board-eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to guide its continued growth. Geriatricians are also encouraged to apply. The role offers flexible schedule options within a hospital-employed model, supported by exceptional leadership at both local and system levels. Physicians will work in a shared facility alongside our Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine practice, with opportunities for teaching and leadership development if desired.
