The Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at the University of Minnesota is dedicated to cutting-edge, patient-centered care. Our general GI Section hosts expanding programs in IBD, esophageal disorders, complex polypectomy, AI in endoscopy, and functional GI diseases. We are home to one of the longest-standing liver transplant programs in the United States and a nationally-recognized Advanced Endoscopy Section for ERCP, EUS, and complex pancreas/biliary disorders.
The Division maintains the highest ambitions for excellence across its three major missions: patient services, teaching, and research. As part of the M Health shared care delivery system, we combine academic and community resources to provide top-tier clinical care while supporting research and education across the joint healthcare system.
We are seeking a Transplant Hepatologist to join our academic division as an integral team member. This position offers the opportunity to become a key contributor to the development of our hepatology and transplant hepatology programs. You will serve as an inpatient attending on the liver service at the M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center and manage outpatient liver clinics in a state-of-the-art facility in Minneapolis.
Beyond clinical duties, you will provide consultations and outreach activities while developing a clinical research program. The role is deeply embedded in the academic missions of the Department of Medicine and the Division, offering ample opportunities to teach medical students, residents, and Gastroenterology fellows. You will also benefit from continued professional development through educational conferences, CME, and collaboration with top specialists.
