Swedish Medical Group is an integrated team of more than 1,300 physicians and advanced practice clinicians serving the greater Seattle area. As part of the Swedish Health System, providers benefit from centralized system support and a shared EMR (Epic). The Gastroenterology group is a 20-physician, ten-mid-level-provider employed team with a growing consultative practice. This world-class program combines tertiary and quaternary referral care—including liver transplantation, therapeutic ERCP/EUS, POEM, and deep enteroscopy—with GI care for a large, well-established Primary Care network in and around Seattle.
Join one of the largest Liver Transplant programs in the Pacific Northwest as it continues to grow. This is a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible Gastroenterology & Transplant Hepatology physician position within an excellent and collegial team. The role offers a combination of outpatient and inpatient responsibilities, involving a mix of office work and in-hospital consultations. Hospital call is supported by a nighttime nurse triage phone service, and hospital medicine along with all major subspecialty support is readily available.
