About Trident Ambulatory Surgery Center

Trident Surgery Center is located in Charleston, South Carolina, serving residents of the city and the Lowcountry area, including Beaufort, Jasper, Hampton, and Colleton counties. As a member of Surgery Ventures powered by HCA Healthcare, our AAAHC-accredited center performs over 400 procedures a month. We offer services in dental, gastroenterology, gynecology, plastics, orthopedics, podiatry, ENT, and urology procedures, conveniently located off Interstate 26.

About the Role

As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator for the Preop/PACU, you will ensure and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while coordinating all functions in the unit during your designated shift. Working in collaboration with the management team, you will direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures. You will serve as a resource person for staff and model a commitment to the organization's vision, mission, and values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes.

In this role, you will foster an environment of teamwork by collaborating with subject matter experts and other managers to improve outcomes. You will support a patient-first philosophy, engage in service recovery when necessary, and operationalize nursing strategies such as employee rounding and hourly rounds to improve staff engagement. Additionally, you will assist with staff scheduling, inventory control, and the selection and training of new team members to ensure a competitively better organization.
