About the Role
Del Sol Medical Center is a full-service, acute-care hospital in east El Paso, Texas, with a Level II trauma designation and over 300 patient beds. As part of Las Palmas Del Sol Healthcare, we serve as a leading provider for El Paso and the surrounding region, offering services ranging from emergency and cardiac care to a Level III NICU and Minimally Invasive Surgery Center.
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care by coordinating all functions within the unit during the designated shift. In collaboration with the management team, you will direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies, serving as a resource for staff and modeling a commitment to the organization's vision. Your day-to-day impact involves assisting with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput, participating in ongoing assessments of patient care quality, and collaborating with subject matter experts to foster a culture of teamwork. You will support a patient-first philosophy, operationalize nursing strategies like employee rounding, and manage practical aspects of staff labor, scheduling, and inventory control to drive improved outcomes and service.
