About the Role
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is a pivotal leadership role within our Children's PACU, ensuring and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care during designated shifts. In collaboration with the management team, you will direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies, serving as a vital resource for staff and modeling a commitment to our organization's vision and values.
This role is designed to support an unparalleled patient experience and drive clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance. You will foster an environment of teamwork, operationalize nursing strategies like employee rounding, and manage the practical aspects of staff labor to meet patient care needs. By engaging in service recovery and supporting staff development, you will help create a competitive and compassionate workplace.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleAssist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient patient throughput
- check_circleParticipate in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit
- check_circleCollaborate with subject matter experts to create an environment of teamwork and improved outcomes
- check_circleProvide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff members
- check_circleSupport proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment

Requirements
- verified(RN) Registered Nurse
- verifiedAssociate Degree or Registered Nurse Diploma
- verifiedPrevious RN PACU experience required
- verifiedAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (obtained within 60 days)
- verifiedBasic Cardiac Life Support (obtained within 30 days)
- verifiedPALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support (obtained within 60 days)
- verifiedPedi Care After Resuscitation (obtained within 6 months)
