About the Team

Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen, Texas has been serving the Rio Grande Valley for more than 30 years. Our full-service hospital features 320+ beds and a team of over 500 physicians representing 35+ specialties. We offer a full range of inpatient and outpatient medical and surgical services, including a Level III Trauma Center Emergency Room and three remote ERs in McAllen/Mission, Edinburg, and San Juan. Our Women's Services include Labor & Delivery and a 30+ bed NICU, alongside an entire children's hospital within our main facility. We also partner with the Texas Transplant Institute to serve local patients in need of organ, tissue, or stem cell transplants.

About the Role

Rio Grande Regional Hospital is committed to investing in the latest technology enabling nurses to work more efficiently. As a Registered Nurse in our Free Standing Emergency Room, you will have the opportunity to spend more time at the bedside with the patient. You will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care consistent with the scope and standards of practice for your state and specialty.

In collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team, you will provide individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." You will serve as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, modeling a commitment to the organization's vision and values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes.
