As an RN Imaging Resource Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting invasive imaging procedures at our Interventional Radiology (IR) department. This position is the bridge between referral offices, staff, and IR physicians, ensuring the seamless flow of patient care from scheduling to post-procedure recovery.
Your day will involve managing workflow optimization, coordinating the acquisition of outside images and reports, and serving as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders. You will provide specialized nursing care, assessing and preparing patients for procedures, administering medications and sedation, and monitoring patients for adverse reactions. Beyond clinical duties, you will identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance efficiency and patient experience while maintaining strict adherence to patient safety initiatives and regulatory standards.
