About the Role
As an RN IRU Pre-Post Care PRN, you will be a vital part of our radiology team, assisting radiology Registered Nurses and physicians in delivering high-quality patient care. This role exists to ensure that every patient's physical, nutritional, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, spiritual, educational, and rehabilitative needs are met throughout their interventional and radiology procedures.
In this position, you will play a hands-on role in the day-to-day operations of the Interventional Radiology Unit (IRU). You will assist in interventional cases, including the administration of sedation and analgesia, while maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients. Your day will involve assessing patient conditions, taking and documenting vital signs, managing pain, and ensuring accurate records of intake and output. You will also be responsible for stocking supplies, scheduling procedures, and maintaining daily quality control logs on equipment.
