St. David's North Austin Medical Center is a 460+ bed, multi-specialty, acute care hospital and part of St. David's HealthCare. We provide comprehensive medical care with advanced women's health services, including Level I, II, and III neonatal intensive care units (NICUs) at the nearby St. David's Women's Center of Texas. St. David's Women's Center of Texas is recognized by the State of Texas as a Level IV Maternal Facility, providing the highest level of care for pregnant and postpartum patients, including those at high risk. As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) at St. David's North Austin Medical Center, you will ensure and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while coordinating all functions in the unit during your designated shift. You will work in collaboration with the management team to direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
In this role, you will serve as a resource person for staff and model a commitment to the organization's vision, mission, and values to support an unparalleled patient experience. You will assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput, participate in the ongoing assessment of patient care quality, and collaborate with subject matter experts to create an environment of teamwork. Your day will involve operationalizing nursing strategies such as employee rounding, supporting a patient-first philosophy, and managing practical aspects of staff labor to meet patient care needs.
