This position provides leadership and support to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), serving as a critical link in ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care across the hospital. The Nurse Manager assumes 24/7 responsibility for assigned areas, accountable for assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing practice on a unit level.
You will drive the efficient day-to-day operations of the department, optimizing resource use to maximize productivity while minimizing costs. Your role involves communicating openly with the Director to ensure patient care standards are met and providing direct leadership, mentoring, and support to staff. As a resource to the team, you will delegate tasks consistent with legal and professional guidelines, ensuring the competency of clinical staff and the smooth execution of daily patient care operations.
