As a PRN Endoscopy Nurse, you will join a team dedicated to the mission of providing safe, effective nursing care to surgical and GI patients. In this role, you will utilize the nursing process to plan, execute, and evaluate care during the intra-operative period, ensuring patients are safely transferred to recovery. You will serve in both circulating and scrub roles, caring for patients of all ages.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include demonstrating knowledge of surgical and GI procedures, overseeing instrument and equipment setup, and coordinating the room during cases. You will facilitate efficient transitions between procedures and manage preference cards to ensure accuracy.
