
This five-month contract role serves as a Retail Merchandising Manager supporting Apparel, Footwear, and Accessories operations for a globally recognized retail organization in New York. The position involves leading assortment strategy, end-to-end buying, inventory planning, and product performance management while collaborating with global, finance, and distribution teams. Key responsibilities include developing collection strategies, coordinating product drops with visual merchandising, managing inventory allocation and replenishment, and building performance dashboards using Power BI and advanced Excel. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement requiring two to three days onsite and provides an opportunity to lead cross-functional initiatives during a maternity leave coverage period with the potential for contract extension.
