We are seeking professional and engaging Benefit Educators to support client benefit fairs and events across the Pacific Northwest. This on-call position is ideal for individuals who thrive on face-to-face interaction and are comfortable representing a trusted pharmacy benefit services manager brand in public, client-facing environments.
Benefit Educators serve as a knowledgeable and approachable presence at these events, helping individuals understand their pharmacy benefits, answering high-level questions, and connecting them to appropriate resources. The role focuses on delivering positive member experiences and increasing benefits awareness through proactive, professional interactions.
This is an on-call, as-needed position with no guaranteed hours. Educators must reside locally within the assigned geographic area (Seattle, Spokane, Coeur d'Alene, Post Falls, Portland, or Salem) and possess reliable transportation, including a valid driver's license, to travel within the region. Availability on an as-needed basis, including occasional last-minute requests, is essential.
At all events, a professional attire and demeanor are required. To ensure success, educators will attend annual client training to build foundational knowledge of the organization and industry. Additionally, a 30-minute to 1-hour account-specific training session with the account team is required at least 48 hours prior to each assigned benefit fair to cover client-specific plan details and key talking points.
Interested candidates should apply with a valid driver's license and a High School Diploma or GED. Familiarity with benefits or insurance information is a plus, as is prior customer service or public-facing experience.
