About the Role
The Facility Generalist serves as the backbone of our Quincy, MA operations, ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient working environment for all employees. This 5-month contract role (with potential for extension or full-time conversion) is designed for a proactive and organized individual who thrives on variety. You will be the first point of contact for day-to-day facility needs, bridging the gap between employee comfort and operational efficiency.
In this position, you will manage the physical lifecycle of the workspace, from coordinating vendor repairs and managing inventory to overseeing office moves and reconfigurations. Your day will involve a dynamic mix of hands-on maintenance—such as minor repairs, HVAC checks, and concrete work—and strategic oversight of safety protocols and sustainability initiatives. You will also participate in a 3-week on-call rotation, providing critical support outside standard hours with a daily stipend.
