About the Role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med/Surg team in Pompton Plains, NJ. This position offers a 3-month initial contract with high possibilities for extension, providing an opportunity to deliver comprehensive patient care across the entire lifespan, from pediatric to geriatric populations.
In this role, you will perform systematic, comprehensive, and accurate assessments while demonstrating competent clinical skills. Your day-to-day responsibilities include delivering direct patient care that supports the team concept, initiating discharge plans at admission, and actively participating in interdisciplinary meetings. A key focus of this position is patient education; you will assess understanding of surgical procedures, involve patients and families in teaching, and prepare them for discharge.
Location & Compensation
This role is based in Pompton Plains, NJ (07444), with other locations available throughout New Jersey. The shift runs from 8:15 AM to 4:15 PM, Monday through Friday. The pay range is $52–$55 per hour on a W-2 basis. Additionally, a stipend is provided for candidates living more than 50 miles from the facility.

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree, at least 1 year of relevant experience, an active RN license, and BLS certification. Local and travel contracts are available in multiple departments across various states.
