
The People Programs Lead role is a foundational position within AfterQuery's People team, reporting to the Head of Business Operations & People. This individual will design and own core systems including total compensation strategy, career leveling frameworks, performance management cycles, and learning programs to support a hybrid workforce of employees and domain experts. Key responsibilities involve modeling compensation tradeoffs, building written career pathways, and treating people initiatives as measurable products to drive retention and organizational design. The position offers a unique opportunity to build the people function from the ground up for a high-growth AI company, providing a strategic seat at the leadership table.
