As a Mechanic I Processing, you will perform repairs and maintenance on plant facilities, machinery, and equipment, with a specific focus on mechanical systems, fabrication, and welding. Your work is critical to minimizing downtime and supporting reliable plant operations. You will conduct routine, preventive, and corrective inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues, ensuring the continuous flow of production.
In this role, you will utilize a variety of hand and power tools to test, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair machinery. You will also maintain proper housekeeping standards to ensure safe and clean conditions in all assigned work areas. The position requires a commitment to safety, including strict adherence to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) policies and procedures, as well as the ability to identify potential hazards and follow appropriate safety protocols for every task performed.
