Daniel Defense LLC is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Lead for our Engineering, Maintenance & Asset Management department. As the Equipment Maintenance Lead, you will serve as the cornerstone of our manufacturing floor, leading a small team to maximize uptime and product quality. This role is designed for a hands-on leader with strong mechanical and electrical aptitude who thrives in industrial automation settings. You will be responsible for scheduling and executing preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting complex equipment issues, and coordinating contractors to ensure seamless production flow.
Your day will involve a dynamic mix of technical problem-solving and team leadership. You will prioritize work orders, respond rapidly to unplanned downtime, and perform root cause analysis on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Beyond individual troubleshooting, you will collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, and Asset Management teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability and cost reduction. You will also play a key role in training and mentoring maintenance technicians and production staff, fostering a culture of safety and operational excellence.
