The Maintenance Planner serves as the system owner for Work Management planning standards, ensuring all planned work meets rigorous safety, quality, and reliability expectations. This future-focused position operates 2–6 weeks ahead to maximize wrench time, minimize downtime, and support a stable weekly schedule. The primary mission is to create repeatable, efficient, technician-ready job plans that improve overall reliability and reduce maintenance costs through superior execution.
In this role, you will develop high-quality job plans and maintain a clean, prioritized backlog. You will prepare comprehensive work packages, verifying job details by checking work sites and building reusable plans that evolve based on technician feedback. Your work ensures that no job is scheduled until all parts are available and verified, coordinating closely with the storeroom for kitting and staging. You will also support reliability engineering by maintaining accurate PM job plans and ensuring predictive maintenance findings are properly screened and converted into corrective work requests.
