About the Role
As a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician at JLL, you will play a critical role in supporting our client's Operations Maintenance team. This hands-on technical position combines electrical and mechanical expertise with preventative maintenance best practices to ensure seamless operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. You will troubleshoot complex automated systems, install and maintain conveyor equipment, and track maintenance inventory while promoting a culture of safety and operational excellence. Beyond developing your own technical capabilities, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior technicians and contribute to the growth and development of the maintenance team.

- check_circleRepair and maintain material handling equipment, automated packaging systems, and pneumatic systems
- check_circlePerform preventative and predictive maintenance routines on distribution equipment and conveyor systems
- check_circleInstall and repair automated conveyor systems by interpreting blueprints and electrical schematics
- check_circleTrack and manage maintenance department inventory and tools
- check_circleMentor junior technicians and contribute to the growth of the maintenance team
- check_circlePromote a safe working environment by adhering to safety procedures and MHE standards
- check_circleTroubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues related to MHE including sensors, motors, and robotic components
Requirements
- verifiedHigh school diploma or equivalent
- verifiedMinimum 2 years hands-on experience repairing material handling equipment
- verifiedMinimum 2 years experience with predictive and preventative maintenance
- verifiedAbility to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays
- verifiedAuthorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Nice to Have
Associate's degree or higher from a vocational school or college with a focus in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related technical field. 2+ years of experience with automated conveyor systems, controls, and industrial automation equipment. 1+ year of experience reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings for troubleshooting purposes. 1+ year of knowledge and application of electrical and electronic principles including input/output functions and basic PLC troubleshooting. Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for work order tracking, inventory management, and maintenance documentation. Hands-on experience with robotic or electromechanical operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting in automated distribution or manufacturing environments. Proven ability to mentor and train junior technicians while maintaining positive cross-functional relationships in fast-paced operations.
