Key Responsibilities
- check_circleSupervise planning and scheduling of production and packaging equipment maintenance
- check_circleEstablish training programs for Production Maintenance Technicians
- check_circleEnsure adherence to production equipment preventative maintenance schedules
- check_circleContract with outside service providers for facility and equipment maintenance
- check_circleMaintain training records in compliance with cGMP standards
- check_circleEnsure department compliance with company safety policies and procedures
- check_circleSupervise staff handling universal hazardous waste and respond to chemical spills
- check_circleManage maintenance systems and personnel to ensure timely work order completion
- check_circleMonitor spare parts inventory levels and initiate requisitions
- check_circleTrain maintenance and production staff on equipment operation, set-ups, and repairs
- check_circleHire, train, evaluate, and counsel direct-report employees
- check_circleProvide engineering support for equipment construction, modification, and improvement
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- verifiedFive years maintenance experience in a regulated industry
- verifiedAt least 2 years of supervisory experience preferred
- verifiedValid driver's license and acceptable MVR required
- verifiedExperience with automated PM scheduling, work order, spare parts, and calibration software (Maximo preferred)
- verifiedWorking knowledge of cGMP and/or ISO 9001 equipment requirements
- verifiedKnowledge of maintenance functions in a FDA regulated facility
Nice to Have
Five years maintenance experience in the manufacture of sterile drug products and/or medical devices. Experience utilizing Maximo for automated PM scheduling, work order, spare parts, and calibration software. Experience with cGMP audit management.
