The Workforce & Benefits Navigator role supports Tribal members in accessing AVCP benefits and workforce development services within a rural cross-cultural environment. Key responsibilities include conducting case management for TANF and General Assistance clients, developing Family Self Sufficiency Plans, and assisting individuals with education goals, resume building, and scholarship applications. The position also involves managing daily office operations, compiling monthly activity data, and presenting reports to local Tribal Councils. This opportunity is appealing for its mission-driven focus on community self-sufficiency, the chance to facilitate meaningful stakeholder meetings, and the requirement for bilingual skills in Yup'ik and English. The role operates primarily from a local Workforce Development Office with occasional travel to other villages.
