The Marketing Platforms Solutions Manager serves as the primary liaison between stakeholders, platform users, technical partners, and operations specialists. This role is designed to ensure that enterprise marketing technology solutions are effectively designed, implemented, and adopted across the organization.
You will manage the intake, prioritization, and delivery of work, acting as the bridge between business goals and technical execution. Your day-to-day involves translating complex requirements into actionable user stories, coordinating cross-functional work with IT partners and vendors, and driving continuous improvement in platform workflows and user experiences. A key part of your mission is to identify opportunities for automation and AI-enabled enhancements to improve operational efficiency and discoverability.
MSU strives to provide a flexible work environment. This position has been designated as remote-friendly, meaning some or all of the duties can be performed remotely as mutually agreed upon. Standard work hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Experience with enterprise marketing technology platforms such as CMS, DAM, email automation, search or customer data platforms. Experience in higher education, communications or complex organizational environments. Experience with vendor and IT partner coordination. Familiarity with accessibility, governance and workflow standards. Experience supporting AI-enabled process improvements. Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into actionable work. Experience with backlog management, prioritization or agile workflows. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders. Experience working cross-functionally with technical and business teams.
