
The Public Policy Associate role supports United Way of Greater Cleveland's advocacy efforts regarding the social safety net and economic opportunity in Northeast Ohio. Reporting to the Senior Director of Public Policy, the position involves conducting research on legislation and regulations, synthesizing complex policy information into clear briefings, and coordinating logistics for advocacy events and stakeholder meetings. Key responsibilities include tracking legislative developments, preparing written materials for policymakers, and engaging with government officials and community partners. The position offers a mission-driven environment focused on social impact, with opportunities to develop subject-matter expertise and take on increased ownership of policy areas. The role requires a hybrid arrangement with regular in-person attendance for meetings and occasional travel within the state and to Washington, D.C.
