Key Responsibilities

  • check_circleCoordinate and assign tasks to paralegals and legal assistants across large arbitration dockets
  • check_circleManage all phases of arbitration matters from demand preparation through post-award administration
  • check_circleTrack and manage high-volume arbitration filings, deadlines, and procedural requirements across multiple jurisdictions
  • check_circleCoordinate arbitrator selection processes including strike lists, rankings, and communications with administrators
  • check_circleSupport hearing preparation by organizing exhibits, witness materials, and managing hearing logistics
  • check_circleMaintain and oversee large datasets related to arbitration claims ensuring accuracy in client information and status
  • check_circleConduct factual and legal research to support arbitration strategy and case development
  • check_circleCite-check legal documents and ensure compliance with applicable arbitration rules and procedural requirements
  • check_circleDevelop and implement scalable processes and workflows to efficiently manage high-volume arbitration matters
  • check_circleCommunicate with arbitration forums, opposing counsel, clients, experts, and vendors as needed
  • check_circleCoordinate cross-functionally with internal teams to streamline arbitration processes
  • check_circleMentor and train paralegals and legal assistants on arbitration-specific processes and workflows

Requirements

  • verifiedMinimum of 6 years of paralegal experience
  • verifiedAssociate's or bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
  • verifiedFamiliarity with California court rules and procedures
  • verifiedProficiency in Microsoft Office and legal systems (NetDocuments, PACER, Westlaw)

Nice to Have

Bluebook familiarity. Experience supporting high-volume or mass arbitration matters. Experience working with arbitration platforms (e.g., AAA, JAMS) and/or high-volume filing systems. Associate's or bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
