
The Human Services Specialist role supports the Aging and Disability Resource Center within the Department of Human Services, serving as a primary entry point for older adults and individuals with disabilities. Key responsibilities include conducting client intakes, performing eligibility assessments, managing short-term case plans to connect residents with community resources, and maintaining detailed electronic records. This position offers the opportunity to work within a trauma-informed, diverse team dedicated to helping vulnerable populations age in place with dignity. The role is currently an overstrength position expected to last up to two years with potential for permanency, featuring hybrid work arrangements and occasional evening or weekend outreach duties.
