About the Role
Oil States Industries, Inc. is seeking a Technical Writer I to join our team on-site in Arlington, TX. This role is designed for a self-starter who thrives in a manufacturing environment, working under direct supervision to produce accurate, clear, and concise technical documentation.
In this position, you will serve as a bridge between engineering, manufacturing, quality, and project management teams. Your day-to-day involves gathering background material, observing manufacturing and testing activities, and synthesizing information from mechanical drawings, sketches, and specifications to create reports, manuals, procedures, and quality control plans. You will also review existing documents for accuracy and consistency, ensuring all company publications meet high standards of clarity and technical precision.
