This 10-month school-based role involves providing mental health services to middle and high school students within a district administration framework. Key responsibilities include conducting diagnostic assessments, developing individual treatment plans, and delivering the SPARCS group intervention to adolescents dealing with chronic trauma and stress. The position also requires collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, consulting with school staff, and documenting services for reimbursement. The role is appealing due to its focus on trauma-informed care and the opportunity to implement evidence-based therapies that enhance student coping skills. Clinicians will serve three school sites and work with a grant-funded team supported by specialized training from the NC Child Treatment Program.
