About the Role
St. Clair County Community College is seeking passionate Adjunct Faculty to join our Chemistry department for the 2026/2027 Academic Year. This part-time, semester-based position offers the opportunity to teach a full range of undergraduate courses, including Intro to Organic and Biochemistry. Instructors will have the flexibility to teach in morning, afternoon, evening, and online formats, allowing for a dynamic teaching environment that serves a diverse student body.
As an adjunct instructor, you will be more than just a lecturer; you will be a mentor and advisor. Your day-to-day will involve designing engaging syllabi, delivering academic instruction, and maintaining scheduled office hours to support student success. You will also play an active role in the continuous improvement of our academic programs by participating in course development and student learning assessments.

Requirements
