About the Role
The HCA Healthcare Residency Program at Mission Hospital is a year-long initiative designed to shepherd new graduates through the transition from student nurse to registered nurse. This program provides a supportive community of nurse educators, experienced nurses, and fellow residents to foster learning, clinical application, and socialization.
As a Resident I Graduate Nurse, you will be surrounded by a culture that prioritizes your growth. The role involves coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with departmental requirements and state standards. You will collaborate with medical providers and the care team to provide individualized, compassionate care using established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." The position serves as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers to support an unparalleled patient experience.

Requirements
- verifiedAssociate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program
- verifiedRegistered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State
- verifiedBasic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) obtained within 30 days of employment
- verifiedAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 1 year of employment
